Mediation Services
J. Davis Law & Mediation offers full and half day mediation services. We mediate all civil cases. We host our meditations virtually on Zoom and in-person.
Please note that only those directly affected by the matter may attend the mediation. However, one additional adult, 21 and over, may attend to provide support. The same applies for virtual sessions. We do ask that all participants log in on one device.

Scheduling & Fees
-
Meditations will not start until all fees have been paid in advance.
Fees are payable via:

All participants represented by the same attorney are considered one party for the purposes of the mediation fee. If you are separate parties represented by one attorney, each party will be charged accordingly.
-
If a party needs to reschedule their scheduled mediation, the party is required to notify their mediator via email or phone three business days prior to their scheduled mediation. The mediator will then respond with alternative options.
-
Late cancellation of mediations cause immense problems for all concerned. To minimize this problem, the following late cancellation policy applies to all scheduled mediations. If a mediation is canceled ten business days or fewer prior to the scheduled mediation date, a cancellation fee of $500 will be charged to the canceling party.
-
Occasionally, it is necessary to incur certain expenses for large, multi-party complex cases. Examples include larger hearing rooms and/or additional caucus rooms. Such expenses will be identified and disclosed in advance and agreed to by the parties prior to invoicing by the mediator. J. Davis Mediation seeks to provide empathetic, equitable, and efficient mediations.
